We'll start small - maybe even stay that way. Let 'em get a feel for one model of handgun and the kickback, get the stance down, and work on their precision. At the end of the day, though, I don't want them to get too cozy with it. We're not making soldiers out of them. If the possibility of having to use a gun outside of a training scenario makes them uncomfortable, that's probably a good thing. As long as they know the basics and understand how to handle a handfun responsibly and properly, I’d say that's good enough.
