[Agent Chun-Li was not going to be amused, at all. Suddenly waking up, sopping wet, was not her idea of a good time. And she couldn't help but shake the feeling that this was not the first time. She drowsily stirred, trying to shake off the heat of the hot spring and blearily make her way to out of the water. What is my life she thinks to herself, looking around the oddly familiar bathhouse for some sign of where she might be. Grumbling, she roots around until she finds a towel and thankfully her qipao had been folded up on a nearby table. On top of a familiar looking book...with her name written on it.

THAT got a low groan...and the detective flopped down to review.]

Ugh. Luceti.

[Not long after that, a Video came up over the network. Now dressed, dried and with her hair done up in proper ox-horns, the Interpol Agent coughed and stood before the camera, arms clasped in front of her.]

Good afternoon everyone. My name is Agent Chun-Li, and for those of you who remember me, hello!

If you don't, then allow me to introduce myself. I'm a police officer from Interpol, and I spent some time here during the last summer it seems. Back home I spend my free time teaching kung-fu and other sorts of wu-shu. I'm originally from Hong-Kong, but I've spent a lot of time travelling the last few years. Keeping busy with work, you know? My memory of being here before is pretty clear now that I've had the chance to go through the journal again, so don't hesitate to contact me if you want to talk or you need help.

I'm hoping not too much has changed in town, I can definitely remember this place having some really good food. And...I've gathered that it's getting getting into November so I guess that means it's going to get cold soon? Anyone who's been here through winter mind telling me what I need to be prepared for? I don't usually get outside the cities too much back home.

Anyway, it's nice to be back I suppose. If you see me wandering around town, don't be a stranger, alright? I don't bite.

[Chun-Li bows politely and cuts off the feed. She can be found around town, at the Clothing Shop, Item Shop, various restaurants, the Welcome Center, and the Smithy to collect her bracelets as well.]

Yea, I got that. Explain. How the hell did you get mixed up with them? And what did they do?

[Glaring again]

Like I said~ I don't really know much about the second occurrence, but the first one...

well, I moved in with some friends after June, and one of our neighbors ended up possessed. He kind of attacked our house, among others, and really messed everything up. It took a couple of wizards and another god to get him contained.

It...

It was a mess.

Lovely. Sounds like a riveting time. Is the bad god contained?

And the second? Just tell me what you know so I can get a clear picture.

Yea, the bad god is contained. That situation is covered.

The next one...

There's another chaos god in town, and most of the team that defeated him in their world now living in our bubble. Again, I don't know much, but it seems like one of the 'good guys' took a shot at the god for some reason--not sure what, it was a stupid move in this place...in my opinion--and it started a mess within that group. That was...last month? Not that long ago, and I haven't been keeping track of the situation.

Some of it might still be rumbling, but we can hope that the 'good guys' have the situation under control on their end.

In either case, it's not my problem. It just makes me wonder if the Malnosso are letting us make good on their threat from June. Lord knows that there's been enough messes that have had nothing to do with our keepers in recent months.

Great. What kind of chaos god are we talking about? Like, Bacchus? Or Mikaboshi? Loki? Pan?

[She's well educated, Lupin]

And don't you for get, I'm one of those 'good guys' you know. Serve and protect? Shadaloo isn't here, but if there's something going on I think I should be doing something to help.

Loki. [A smile--he just loves her.] This 'team' defeated Loki in their world, but he's done nothing here. I tried to warn one of them that doing anything at this point wouldn't help either of them and only would bring a mess of bad PR...and I was right.

I know you're one of the 'good guys,' but this place throws everything into a weird perspective. This 'team' only responded to a threat that was one they recognized, not to other threats in the village. The one, a smartass, called himself a 'hero,' whatever that means.

Some heroics so far...but, again. Not my problem--we haven't needed their help yet, and odds are that we won't.

Well, I can understand their train of thought. If Bison or anyone else from Shadaloo showed up here, I'd have the same reaction.

[She snorts]

Who's on this team?

[He understood it too, and didn't blame them. He never relied on 'heroes' anyway, so their lack of response was not a bother to him.]

As far as I know for sure right now? Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. Steve...was one of the casualties from the recent draft, but I'm not even sure how badly yet. I have my suspicions...because he didn't return with the rest.

[Just leaving the virus thing out for now...]

Steve's a good man. Tony's a frat boy with a big gun. If you want to talk with them? Go to Steve first.

Those names...sound familiar.

[She raises an eyebrow]

Tony Stark? Isn't that Iron Man?

...You know? He did call himself Ironman.

[They sound vaguely familiar to Lupin too, but only that. He doesn't have enough information to make any decisions, and he's too lazy to research on that front.]

He's from a comic book back home.

He might be back home for me too, but I never kept up. I mean, I don't read them.

...It doesn't have anything to do with Superman and Captain America, does it?

Um, he's supposed to be friends with Captain America I think?

I dunno, is he?

Maybe. I'm not a comic book fan. Is Captain America here?

You know? I haven't heard anyone call themselves 'Captain America' yet.

Well maybe he's here or maybe not.

[She shrugs]

So, you remember anything I taught you?

I remember a few things, but...honestly? I haven't been able to practice much of anything for the last few months. My balance has been shot, and it sucked.

...I know, I know. I have a lot of work to do.

[Just the blow his stamina took was enough to get him thinking. He had no idea how his upper body strength compared to what it was before the draft in June.

He huffed in bitter amusement. It seemed like that he was going to have to start at the bottom and work his way back up.]

And you've probably been lounging around, smoking and doing no good for your body.

[She shakes her head]

Don't worry, I'll get you back into shape, but we're gonna start at the bottom for sure. I don't want to overstrain you.

Ahahaha~ You know me too well!
