First Brawl: Round Two, FIGHT! [Action/Video]
[Agent Chun-Li was not going to be amused, at all. Suddenly waking up, sopping wet, was not her idea of a good time. And she couldn't help but shake the feeling that this was not the first time. She drowsily stirred, trying to shake off the heat of the hot spring and blearily make her way to out of the water. What is my life she thinks to herself, looking around the oddly familiar bathhouse for some sign of where she might be. Grumbling, she roots around until she finds a towel and thankfully her qipao had been folded up on a nearby table. On top of a familiar looking book...with her name written on it.
THAT got a low groan...and the detective flopped down to review.]
Ugh. Luceti.
[Not long after that, a Video came up over the network. Now dressed, dried and with her hair done up in proper ox-horns, the Interpol Agent coughed and stood before the camera, arms clasped in front of her.]
Good afternoon everyone. My name is Agent Chun-Li, and for those of you who remember me, hello!
If you don't, then allow me to introduce myself. I'm a police officer from Interpol, and I spent some time here during the last summer it seems. Back home I spend my free time teaching kung-fu and other sorts of wu-shu. I'm originally from Hong-Kong, but I've spent a lot of time travelling the last few years. Keeping busy with work, you know? My memory of being here before is pretty clear now that I've had the chance to go through the journal again, so don't hesitate to contact me if you want to talk or you need help.
I'm hoping not too much has changed in town, I can definitely remember this place having some really good food. And...I've gathered that it's getting getting into November so I guess that means it's going to get cold soon? Anyone who's been here through winter mind telling me what I need to be prepared for? I don't usually get outside the cities too much back home.
Anyway, it's nice to be back I suppose. If you see me wandering around town, don't be a stranger, alright? I don't bite.
[Chun-Li bows politely and cuts off the feed. She can be found around town, at the Clothing Shop, Item Shop, various restaurants, the Welcome Center, and the Smithy to collect her bracelets as well.]
(ooc: Tag her wherever you like, around town, at the hot springs, over the journal. I'm cool with whatever, break all the time you want!)

Video
[She rolls her neck around a bit]
The wings...they could be better I guess. A little stiff, but that's normal I'm told.
Video
The first thing he thinks to ask is if whether he should go see a doctor if stiffness persists longer than four hours, but he figures it might be a little much, and for a first encounter as well. Much more of a joke he'd offer in a dude's presence.]
Hey... since you've left, come back, and lived to tell all about it - I was wondering about a few things.
Video
[She smiles warmly]
I'll share, if you tell me about that arm of yours.
Video
What about it? [He asks, after an infinitesimal pause.]
Video
Video
[It says enough. Years later, the traumatic event still replays itself in his dreams although not as often as before. He looks to his hand contemplatively, metal fingers smoothly flexing and curling.]
It works as you would expect any other prosthetic - - but because it's military grade tech, it has added versatility to get a soldier out of a pinch.
Video
[She offers a reassuring smile]
Let me guess, it has lasers or something?
Video
No lasers; sorry to disappoint.
[With a soft mechanical whirring, his metallic hand splays open, the thumb folding back and the fingers bending to form prongs. However clunky the arm may look, it's a fairly seamless transition that requires no more thought on his part than rubbing the sleep out of his eyes in the morning.]
But with this, scaling flat walls or the sides of buildings is pretty small potatoes. It extends on the end of a built-in wire that's about sixty five feet long, give or take, if I got my numbers right. Tough enough to deflect conventional firepower, and can help a guy like me lift a few tons worth of shit if I ever need to.
Video
[All pretense of formality abandoned, Chun-Li stares into the camera with wide eyes. She's heard of people with arms like that, but never seen one.]
I bet that's really handy! I mean, I know you probably would rather have your human arm, but that's really something unique.
Video
It probably won't be in a while when this technology is really in demand around the world. But unique or not, it'll always mean more to me than... [He pauses briefly, his tone still level.] ...I probably know how to put into words.
Video
[She notes the pause, but doesn't press. She's a good cop like that]
Alright, your turn.
Video
I'm one of the luckiest soldiers I know.
[He lifts his head slightly, his hand fluidly reassuming a more familiar, natural shape.]
...Anyway. When you were sent back home... did you remember a thing about this place?
Video
Kind of a shame, really.
Video
[Thankfully he wasn't in the middle of something important. He's back in Area 0 sleeping like a baby. ...A big, sore, fatigued baby who may have dropped into bed a little tipsy from a bit of celebratory boozing in the company of Joe and other soldiers.]
Video
[She taps her chin and smiles]
The first time, I'd just knocked a suspect out cold and handcuffed her. This time I dozed off on my way back to the station with Guile.
