First Brawl: Round Two, FIGHT! [Action/Video]
[Agent Chun-Li was not going to be amused, at all. Suddenly waking up, sopping wet, was not her idea of a good time. And she couldn't help but shake the feeling that this was not the first time. She drowsily stirred, trying to shake off the heat of the hot spring and blearily make her way to out of the water. What is my life she thinks to herself, looking around the oddly familiar bathhouse for some sign of where she might be. Grumbling, she roots around until she finds a towel and thankfully her qipao had been folded up on a nearby table. On top of a familiar looking book...with her name written on it.
THAT got a low groan...and the detective flopped down to review.]
Ugh. Luceti.
[Not long after that, a Video came up over the network. Now dressed, dried and with her hair done up in proper ox-horns, the Interpol Agent coughed and stood before the camera, arms clasped in front of her.]
Good afternoon everyone. My name is Agent Chun-Li, and for those of you who remember me, hello!
If you don't, then allow me to introduce myself. I'm a police officer from Interpol, and I spent some time here during the last summer it seems. Back home I spend my free time teaching kung-fu and other sorts of wu-shu. I'm originally from Hong-Kong, but I've spent a lot of time travelling the last few years. Keeping busy with work, you know? My memory of being here before is pretty clear now that I've had the chance to go through the journal again, so don't hesitate to contact me if you want to talk or you need help.
I'm hoping not too much has changed in town, I can definitely remember this place having some really good food. And...I've gathered that it's getting getting into November so I guess that means it's going to get cold soon? Anyone who's been here through winter mind telling me what I need to be prepared for? I don't usually get outside the cities too much back home.
Anyway, it's nice to be back I suppose. If you see me wandering around town, don't be a stranger, alright? I don't bite.
[Chun-Li bows politely and cuts off the feed. She can be found around town, at the Clothing Shop, Item Shop, various restaurants, the Welcome Center, and the Smithy to collect her bracelets as well.]
(ooc: Tag her wherever you like, around town, at the hot springs, over the journal. I'm cool with whatever, break all the time you want!)

[action]
[She's not sure if she'd call it medieval, but magic and sorcery? That's her job description right there. To prove her point, Ilyana created a small trail of lightning in the air, before letting it fizzle into nothingness.]
I've been finding... my magic isn't quite as effective here though... so I guess the guide was correct about that barrier.
To be honest, it sounds a lot like the mercenary company I had worked with... or the royal kinghts. I thought you might be a fighter though, because you seem pretty well fit... and I've met a lot of fighting men and women.
[action]
[She smiles at the lightning and stands, taking a meditative pose, moving her hands and calling up a small ball of visible ki, letting it fade away with a flash of bluish light.]
Martial arts have been a part of my family for generations.
[action]
That's amazing! How do you do that? I've never seen anything quite like it before!
[Namely, because there aren't any martial artists like Chun-Li in her world.]
[action]
[She takes her seat again and grins]
There's energy in all living things, life force. With training, anyone can bring it out. Martial arts are all about focusing your mind and your body, so you can fight even without weapons. I could teach you, if you wanted to learn.
[action]
If you're willing... I might like to try to learn. Lucia always told me I need to learn better how to protect myself physically.
[action]
And I'd have no problem at all teaching you. When I'm at home in my free time, I teach martial arts.
[action]
Home huh?
[It only just dawned on Ilyana, that she probably should have found someplace where she's going to sleep tonight.
Umm... do you know anything about the housing in Luceti? I... don't think I have anywhere to stay really.
[action]
[Chun-Li nods]
Yea, there are community buildings you can stay in. Apartments, sort of like houses, with shared kitchens. If you're worried about having a roommate, you can live with me. Or you can just take a room nearby all to yourself and we can share a kitchen. There's lots of space.
[action]
[It would probably be rather helpful for Ilyana to have a roommate, given how she can sometimes pass out from lack of food.]
I-If you're serious... I would really like that.
[action]
[She smiles, knowing just what the little coma-victim waiting to happen is thinking]
And if friends of yours from home turn up later, I won't mind if you move out. I'm an easygoing roommate.
[action]
[She's totally decided she's living with you now Chun-Li. She's not exactly a fan of being on her own.]
Heh... it seems a little unlikely to me that anyone from my world will show up... never mind anyone I'm friends with. So I think it will be safe to say we'll be together for at least a little while.
[Seriously, nobody ever plays the Fire Emblem merchants :|]
[action]
[She nods for emphasis]
You never know, kiddo. Anything's possible here.
[action]
Heh... well I'll keep my eyes open, but I won't hold my breath. Waiting for somebody who never comes... that's worse than simply thinking they won't come, and being pleasantly surprised when they do.
[Remember that pile of baked goods, like bread and stuff? It's gone now.]
[action]
[She grins and stands up to bring more food.]
Say, how old are you anyway, kiddo?
[action]
[This girl is almost always hungry ._.]
Umm... I think I'm 20 but... I'm not sure if that measurement might be different from one world to the next. For all I know, a year could be a thousand days on one planet, and maybe only 100 on another.
[action]
[She nods at the statement though]
Well, I think it's pretty much the same as most places. 365 days in a year. I'm a fair older than you, though.
[action]
[And she's stuffing her face once more.]
Hmm... I would have thought given the odds of probability that it would be measured differently. But perhaps given the ideal distances from a given star to produce life...
[She was going off into scientific and magical theory again in her head. But the last statement Chun-Li made piqued her interest.]
Really? You don't seem like you're that much older than me...
[action]
[She giggles]
[action]
Hehe, well as long as you don't start calling me a young whippersnapper, or asking me to respect my elders, I don't think it'll make too big a difference.
