[Agent Chun-Li was not going to be amused, at all. Suddenly waking up, sopping wet, was not her idea of a good time. And she couldn't help but shake the feeling that this was not the first time. She drowsily stirred, trying to shake off the heat of the hot spring and blearily make her way to out of the water. What is my life she thinks to herself, looking around the oddly familiar bathhouse for some sign of where she might be. Grumbling, she roots around until she finds a towel and thankfully her qipao had been folded up on a nearby table. On top of a familiar looking book...with her name written on it.

THAT got a low groan...and the detective flopped down to review.]

Ugh. Luceti.

[Not long after that, a Video came up over the network. Now dressed, dried and with her hair done up in proper ox-horns, the Interpol Agent coughed and stood before the camera, arms clasped in front of her.]

Good afternoon everyone. My name is Agent Chun-Li, and for those of you who remember me, hello!

If you don't, then allow me to introduce myself. I'm a police officer from Interpol, and I spent some time here during the last summer it seems. Back home I spend my free time teaching kung-fu and other sorts of wu-shu. I'm originally from Hong-Kong, but I've spent a lot of time travelling the last few years. Keeping busy with work, you know? My memory of being here before is pretty clear now that I've had the chance to go through the journal again, so don't hesitate to contact me if you want to talk or you need help.

I'm hoping not too much has changed in town, I can definitely remember this place having some really good food. And...I've gathered that it's getting getting into November so I guess that means it's going to get cold soon? Anyone who's been here through winter mind telling me what I need to be prepared for? I don't usually get outside the cities too much back home.

Anyway, it's nice to be back I suppose. If you see me wandering around town, don't be a stranger, alright? I don't bite.

[Chun-Li bows politely and cuts off the feed. She can be found around town, at the Clothing Shop, Item Shop, various restaurants, the Welcome Center, and the Smithy to collect her bracelets as well.]

I'm not sure that's the case. Somewhere like this, learning combat skills is very important for everyone. I think you would be doing something good if you began to teach. You could find somewhere for your school.

I meant back home, sweetie. What I meant was that I need to finish the case I'm working on before I indulge my dreams.

When I was here before I trained people. And I do it in my free time at home.

You've found a way to chase your dream while still doing everything else you need to accomplish, then. That's admirable.

Hahaha, I guess. I'm just doing what's right.

[That brings a smile to Ami's face. Really, Chun-Li is reminding her more and more of Makoto as they talk.]

You'll do a lot of good with that way of thinking.

Well, once Shadaloo's dealt with, I'll have done the world enough favors for a lifetime. But, that's my mission...when I'm not stuck here anyway.

And if he were to arrive here? What would you do?

Shadaloo is an organization. If it's leader was here, I'd find a way to lock him up in the tunnels. He's a murdering psychopath, Ami.

[Oh, she's not objecting to the idea of stopping someone. It's the fact that Luceti makes that difficult. For herself, she's decided her best chance, if an enemy were to arrive, would be to hope they saw the logic in the futility of carrying out their battles here.

And to fight if she has to.]

I understand, but I wonder if even that would work for very long.

If you knew him, you'd understand why. That's something I wouldn't budge on, dear.

[Her voice takes an edge Ami's probably never heard before.]

I know there are cells down there. I've seen them. If you ever hear about a man named Bison here, you contact me immediately. He's wanted for the murders of hundreds of people, including my father. He's dangerous, mad, and desires nothing more than to enslave all life. He sold his soul and conscience to some dark force, and he's done nothing with his power except cause misery and death.

[A lot of that sounds far too familiar not to feel guilt. A lot of it also sounds far too familiar not to think there could still be some hope, if the Dark Kingdom could be redeemed.]

I'll be prepared for that. [And now it's Ami's turn to be firm:] If you're also prepared for the chance it may not be necessary.

[Don't jump the gun, that's all she asks.]

[She snorts]

You don't know the guy. He literally cannot perform an act that would be considered kind or selfless. He's not even human anymore, and it'd be better to equate him to a demon or something. He gave away his capacity for good to gain power over others.

[She won't be jumping the gun, but when you know your enemy like she knows Bison?]

There's no guesswork to be done. I've met a literal demon with more capacity for kindness than Bison.

Since I don't know him, I can't argue. I just know Luceti makes situations different.

Situations maybe. People's natures? No.

[She changes the topic]

So what's new in your life? Anything exciting going on in Ami's world since I've been gone?

[She has to think for a moment. Her life is fairly routine these days, when Drafts aren't interrupting it.]

The stables. I've begun to learn to ride horseback.

Have you now? That's good! I haven't ridden since I was a child, but I do enjoy it.

Anything else exciting?

No; it's the same as Luceti has always been. [This, in her view, is the truth even if it's still evasive. There have always been disturbing events and battles here.]

Well, that's good at least. Means that I didn't miss a whole lot.

I hope you don't mind though, if I take off. I probably should find an apartment, and get some groceries before it gets too late. I'll see you later, alright Ami?
