First Brawl: Round Two, FIGHT! [Action/Video]
[Agent Chun-Li was not going to be amused, at all. Suddenly waking up, sopping wet, was not her idea of a good time. And she couldn't help but shake the feeling that this was not the first time. She drowsily stirred, trying to shake off the heat of the hot spring and blearily make her way to out of the water. What is my life she thinks to herself, looking around the oddly familiar bathhouse for some sign of where she might be. Grumbling, she roots around until she finds a towel and thankfully her qipao had been folded up on a nearby table. On top of a familiar looking book...with her name written on it.
THAT got a low groan...and the detective flopped down to review.]
Ugh. Luceti.
[Not long after that, a Video came up over the network. Now dressed, dried and with her hair done up in proper ox-horns, the Interpol Agent coughed and stood before the camera, arms clasped in front of her.]
Good afternoon everyone. My name is Agent Chun-Li, and for those of you who remember me, hello!
If you don't, then allow me to introduce myself. I'm a police officer from Interpol, and I spent some time here during the last summer it seems. Back home I spend my free time teaching kung-fu and other sorts of wu-shu. I'm originally from Hong-Kong, but I've spent a lot of time travelling the last few years. Keeping busy with work, you know? My memory of being here before is pretty clear now that I've had the chance to go through the journal again, so don't hesitate to contact me if you want to talk or you need help.
I'm hoping not too much has changed in town, I can definitely remember this place having some really good food. And...I've gathered that it's getting getting into November so I guess that means it's going to get cold soon? Anyone who's been here through winter mind telling me what I need to be prepared for? I don't usually get outside the cities too much back home.
Anyway, it's nice to be back I suppose. If you see me wandering around town, don't be a stranger, alright? I don't bite.
[Chun-Li bows politely and cuts off the feed. She can be found around town, at the Clothing Shop, Item Shop, various restaurants, the Welcome Center, and the Smithy to collect her bracelets as well.]
(ooc: Tag her wherever you like, around town, at the hot springs, over the journal. I'm cool with whatever, break all the time you want!)

[action]
[That's said with a smile, implying that she's joking about being able to eat it all. Although she actually isn't.]
Umm... anything is fine really, so long as it's filling... and tastes good. What would you suggest?
[action]
These all look pretty good. Be careful not to eat too many.
And...what should I call you kiddo? My name is Chun-Li.
[action]
I'm Ilyana, and it's really nice to meet you Chun-Li.
[And now she's grabbing another one. Although she's taking a little more time with this one, not to seem piggish or anything.]
I'm really glad you found me when you did. I was worried I might go into another one of my hunger induced comas...
[action]
[Chun-Li picks up one of her own, nibbling and watching]
How do you get by without a whole cart of food behind you all the time? Or have you not eaten in days?
[action]
[Well this is embarrassing to say...]
I usually travel with a merchant caravan so um...
[So yes, she usually travels with a whole cart of food behind her.]
[action]
[But...]
How do you stay so thin?
[action]
[It's a blessing... and a curse.]
I'm just... really frail almost no matter what I do.
[action]
[Like something out of a fairy tale]
Um, is there anyone else from your world here?
[action]
[She's one of the only people she's ever heard of with this dilemma.]
I... no... I am alone.
[That sort of bums her out a little. She'd been traveling with friends for so long now, that the prospect of being alone made her rather sad.]
[action]
Well hey, don't let that get you down. I'm alone here too.
[action]
[A rare smile found its way on Ilyana's face as she finished scarfing down a bagel.]
Hehe, would you like to be alone together?
[action]
[Chun-Li holds out a hand]
That way we won't be alone anymore.
[action]
[Ilyana takes the hand, gently shaking it with a small smile.]
So umm... Chun-Li, you said you were a police woman right? Do you like your job?
[action]
[Get it right! Geez!]
How about you Ilyana, what do you do?
[action]
[She grins at that question though, as she takes quite a bit of pride in her line of work.]
I'm an archsage! A practitioner of the arcane arts.
[action]
[She smiles]
Police are peacekeepers. But I track down dangerous criminals and lock them away. And I fight, too.
[action]
[She's not sure if she'd call it medieval, but magic and sorcery? That's her job description right there. To prove her point, Ilyana created a small trail of lightning in the air, before letting it fizzle into nothingness.]
I've been finding... my magic isn't quite as effective here though... so I guess the guide was correct about that barrier.
To be honest, it sounds a lot like the mercenary company I had worked with... or the royal kinghts. I thought you might be a fighter though, because you seem pretty well fit... and I've met a lot of fighting men and women.
[action]
[She smiles at the lightning and stands, taking a meditative pose, moving her hands and calling up a small ball of visible ki, letting it fade away with a flash of bluish light.]
Martial arts have been a part of my family for generations.
[action]
That's amazing! How do you do that? I've never seen anything quite like it before!
[Namely, because there aren't any martial artists like Chun-Li in her world.]
[action]
[She takes her seat again and grins]
There's energy in all living things, life force. With training, anyone can bring it out. Martial arts are all about focusing your mind and your body, so you can fight even without weapons. I could teach you, if you wanted to learn.
[action]
If you're willing... I might like to try to learn. Lucia always told me I need to learn better how to protect myself physically.
[action]
And I'd have no problem at all teaching you. When I'm at home in my free time, I teach martial arts.
[action]
Home huh?
[It only just dawned on Ilyana, that she probably should have found someplace where she's going to sleep tonight.
Umm... do you know anything about the housing in Luceti? I... don't think I have anywhere to stay really.
[action]
[Chun-Li nods]
Yea, there are community buildings you can stay in. Apartments, sort of like houses, with shared kitchens. If you're worried about having a roommate, you can live with me. Or you can just take a room nearby all to yourself and we can share a kitchen. There's lots of space.
[action]
[It would probably be rather helpful for Ilyana to have a roommate, given how she can sometimes pass out from lack of food.]
I-If you're serious... I would really like that.
