First Brawl: Round Two, FIGHT! [Action/Video]

[Agent Chun-Li was not going to be amused, at all. Suddenly waking up, sopping wet, was not her idea of a good time. And she couldn't help but shake the feeling that this was not the first time. She drowsily stirred, trying to shake off the heat of the hot spring and blearily make her way to out of the water. What is my life she thinks to herself, looking around the oddly familiar bathhouse for some sign of where she might be. Grumbling, she roots around until she finds a towel and thankfully her qipao had been folded up on a nearby table. On top of a familiar looking book...with her name written on it.

THAT got a low groan...and the detective flopped down to review.]

Ugh. Luceti.

[Not long after that, a Video came up over the network. Now dressed, dried and with her hair done up in proper ox-horns, the Interpol Agent coughed and stood before the camera, arms clasped in front of her.]

Good afternoon everyone. My name is Agent Chun-Li, and for those of you who remember me, hello!

If you don't, then allow me to introduce myself. I'm a police officer from Interpol, and I spent some time here during the last summer it seems. Back home I spend my free time teaching kung-fu and other sorts of wu-shu. I'm originally from Hong-Kong, but I've spent a lot of time travelling the last few years. Keeping busy with work, you know? My memory of being here before is pretty clear now that I've had the chance to go through the journal again, so don't hesitate to contact me if you want to talk or you need help.

I'm hoping not too much has changed in town, I can definitely remember this place having some really good food. And...I've gathered that it's getting getting into November so I guess that means it's going to get cold soon? Anyone who's been here through winter mind telling me what I need to be prepared for? I don't usually get outside the cities too much back home.

Anyway, it's nice to be back I suppose. If you see me wandering around town, don't be a stranger, alright? I don't bite.

[Chun-Li bows politely and cuts off the feed. She can be found around town, at the Clothing Shop, Item Shop, various restaurants, the Welcome Center, and the Smithy to collect her bracelets as well.]

[20-30 minutes later there's a rapping at your chamber door.]

[And he will get that door, totally wearing a pink frilly apron and finishing up his noodles.]

Come on in, Chun-Li! And welcome back, eh. [Even if Luceti sucks to most people, Marco likes it, and he's still glad to see people he likes.]

[She blinks at the apron and wanders in.]

Thanks. You're looking kind of pink, you know?

[fierybluebird]

[Deadpan.] I'm trying a new look.

[Spins and shows it off.] It's to go with my belt. [A certain present from Sabo.]

[She just looks at you and blinks]

[Hides a laugh. That is a really cute face.]

No? Pity. [Strokes his chin musingly.] This is what happens when Izou's not around to hold me in check. [Spreads hands with a shrug and takes off the apron to hang it up, the belt stays though.]

So, noodles, eh? [Ladles up a couple of bowls and turns the stove off, though it's a pretty big pot. The rest he leaves covered -- mostly like for Ace later.]

[She gives him an annoyed look.]

I forget, who was Izou again?

[But she nods in thanks]

Thank you, really.

[Grins and grabs a seat at the table opposite her.]

No problem. Izou is sixteenth division commander. My okama brother.

Action

Right...you mentioned him before.

[She nods vaguely]

Did I ever meet him?

Action

[fierybluebird]

[Nods.] But not here. It was a visiting-home thing.

I...think I remember that? When did that happen?

Ah, let's see... Robin came back in May, so... April?

Action

[feetoffury]

April, huh.

And you say it's November? When would you say I left? I don't remember everything, just places and names.

[fierybluebird]

Around April. You left pretty much after that whole thing. So I guess it's been over half a year, eh?

[feetoffury]

Can you give me a bit of info about what's happened since then?

[She starts eating, but smiles]

And you've gotten better, you know.

I'm glad. Six months of cooking for Ace seems not to have gone to waste.

Mah, I want to say "same old, same old," but it's actually been interesting. Drafts, shifts. You missed the ghosts for Halloween. And the zombie draft plague.

Ace and I have been pranking each other silly. Be glad you missed having to see me with red hair. Robin said I looked like a murdered pineapple. [Nod!]

Zombies? You're joking, right?

[She pauses her meal...blinking]

That...sounds awful.

Action

Ah... sorry. I got him back though.

I wasn't on the draft, but everyone who was is still... Apparently it was that bad. In my world zombies are just controlled by Gecko Moria; like puppets, but apparently this was more like an illness.

So if you don't see Ace, it's because other than helping Nami harvest, I'm trying to make him sleep it off.

It could be worse though. Not that it makes it better, it's just good to keep in mind.

An illness? Oh god...that sounds awful. Is Ace alright? It didn't get loose here did it?!

[Biohazard control is something she's actually had to deal with...thanks Bison]

He's okay, just shook up. It wasn't here, that's why I guess they keep the barrier in place, but a lot of his friends got hurt. Did you ever meet Moro?

I did. Once. Big wolf, right?

Action

[Nods.] She got infected, so from what I understand, that was a big problem, eh.

Sorry, I wish I could offer you better news. Things haven't always been bad, October was just rough.

Stars, Marco. That's awful.

[She sets down her chopsticks and gives him a long, hard look]

What else happened, between April and now?

[Small grin.]

I got a girlfriend. She's a cat now. [Waves a hand.] Malnosso, but I have to thank you. Your letter when you went back was what gave me the courage to even try, eh?

I adopted another little brother: Sabo. He's a writer. Only ten years old, but smartest kid I've ever met. He grew up with Ace and Luffy, but he's great.

And he and I are joining the art club. Apparently I can't draw, but I'm daring them to try to teach an old bird a new trick, eh?
